Keep Your Head In The Game

For all the time I have spent contemplating existence, happiness, morality, I am no closer to understanding than I was at the moment of my conception. After 41 years of beating myself up, and learning and growing, I realized that to truly find peace, you must keep your head in the game. I am going to keep right on being me! The time and energy were not wasted because I have this information to share.

The happiest moments of my life are the ones when I am not analyzing my mental state. When I forget all my thoughts, and get lost in the moment I find contentment, serenity, peace. How does this happen? Not on purpose unfortunately, there is no spontaneous organic manner to ensure you reach peak self-actualization and keep your head in the game. I can help, however! Stop getting so caught up in WHY you aren’t happy and instead latch onto something that makes you happy. Like a life saver you grab onto after the shipwrecks to keep you floating until rescue. That which you grab onto will save you!

It will change with time, as you get used to it and take it for granted. That is the yang in human existence. We get tired of things, they become boring, expected. That is when you only think about it in a bad time! It can be the yin too. Looking for the next thing becomes a satisfaction in and of itself. When you stop trying to plan life and take life’s hand as a partner it will guide you to paradise and you will be able to keep your head in the game.

As always though, find the middle ground! Plan, yes plan it is foolish to go in blind to life. Do not make planning your answer to everything or you will stop living! When you plan, remember to keep your head in the game. Thank you for riding with me!
