About Me

About me: I have the goal of documenting my life digitally as much as possible. It helps me counteract the nihilistic horror of nothing I do mattering. I know this thought to be bogus, but it stalks me and creeps up from time to time. That thought and my addiction got along well. Along with my victim mindset and people pleasing nature. All four of these horseman haunted the corners of my mind. Even though they are vanquished for now they really lie waiting for me to be weak for just a moment.

Why would I think my life is worth documenting? I ask myself this and the best I can come up with is that there is a lid for every pot. I always wanted to be “published” in the old world lexicon. Something to live longer than me. Modern technologies allow me to digitally take a shit and legally show it to anyone that wants to see it at its worst. At its best, I couldn’t possibly see the future value in something I haven’t realized yet. However, with good intentions I go onward to boldly document what will someday be second nature perhaps in an “about me” section.

So what of me? I am a 41 year old male who lives in West Virginia in the year 2025, but I also lived here in 1983. I have lived other places as well. All in West Virginia or West Virginia adjacent. Currently I live in South Charleston, but I spent the last decade in Nitro and Eleanor. I have lived in Morgantown, went to school in Huntington. I have spent a great deal of time in the Moundsville and Wheeling areas. I was born in Buckhannon. My education background is an MA from Marshall University in Music granted 2013 and an RBA from West Virginia State University in Music Education specialty earned in 2010. I attended WVU when I graduated Woodrow Wilson High School for 3 years before transferring to West Virginia State to finish my undergraduate course work. Work… well work, shit I think I have done every job you don’t need a license for and some you do. Currently I make ends meet with Spark and Doordash delivering goods to customers in the area. I want to make this a source of income too, I like driving too much to give it up so I want to get a little side money from my exploration of my surroundings. I spent the prior decade working for Gino’s Pizza as a District Supervisor, and there is a lot more to fill in…

Driving? When I am on the road I sometimes feel like I could go anywhere, do anything, be anyone! It is one of the most relaxing experiences I routinely have. I have always loved it and looked at it as a form of freedom! I often just wish someone would ride with me. Not to entertain or distract but to experience it with me. That is why I post these videos. Speaking of “about me,” part of me fantasizes about taking off somewhere under an assumed name and starting a life to make all the reckless decisions I couldn’t in this one. Then if things went bad I could just skip town and change my name. Just a fantasy. I have my anchor, my family and they keep me from drifting too far.
