So I was not feeling work as much today as I was yesterday, but I had a man a plana a canal Panama. As far as work goes I did try a new type of delivery. I did a pharmacy pick up from Sam’s because I had a something ready at the Sam’s pharmacy myself. I took it as divine providence that I should accept the order and see if my order was ready simultaneously. It was, and the delivery was easy enough. All in all $26 to drive 8 miles and spend an hour doing something I had to do anyway. Rarely do I get the win-win like that, but more often lately it seems things are coming up Bryan!
After I finished my order I looked for more work, but nothing jumped out at me as something I had to take. I was not ready to go home so I started to think about where I could drive to. I love driving and seeing new things, but also I am still in the honeymoon phase with the new 4k dashcam. My initial thought was it was a nice day and I wanted to spend roughly 2 hours doing this so I was thinking going to Huntington. On the way I decided to take US35 to point pleasant because I had not taken the newly opened (a few years now) part from Pliny, WV to Henderson, WV. I am so glad I did, it was a beautiful journey and quite enjoyable.
As I often do on these trips I wished I had someone with me to enjoy it with. Because Chas was still at work I needed to get her something to commemorate the trip. A bag of Mothman Potato Chips by Mister Bee from the Point Pleasant Piggly Wiggly did nicely. I also got some beautiful footage. That new road cuts through some stunning mountains and rolling hills to take you through the western extremities of the Kanawha River and into the Ohio Valley.
