I honestly don’t have it in me for much of a blog post / journal entry today. With the imminent move (we did sign a lease and get a key today) I have been a bit at my wits end. These are pretty much journal entries, and are equally cathartic and therapeutic for myself. This is why I share them openly, not to mention the accountability that it gives me to myself and others. So anyway…

I thought it would be a good time to talk about giving yourself grace so you can really give it to others. After all if you can’t forgive yourself you can’t forgive others. Grace for yourself and others! Furthermore if you are always forgiving others then you probably are not putting so much negativity out in the world. People will be more drawn to you if you are positive and forgiving. Grace for yourself and others puts everything in the right perspective to live life in the present. That is where we most need to be! You can be present for the people you care about NOW. You can not live in the future yet, and the past is only to visit because you can’t do anything there but remember.

Due to a combination of factors, not the least of which being the winter storm that passed through, I have no dash cam footage for 1-6-2025. It occurred to me today that sharing these videos is very personal. They show where I am at present. They also depict where I am headed in a real day-to-day literal manner. Adding this blog to my videos is even more personal. It is essentially my journal into where my emotions and mind is at for the given day. I hope to continue making these as long as I feel fulfillment in them. I hope that if anyone reads this, they get something out of it. Sense of purpose is fundamental to a healthy mind. So as of today, my family and I are stressed out with trying to move. But I am trying to relieve stress for myself and my family in any healthy way I can. Today Chastity and I drove around to get out of the house and distract ourselves. I hope you enjoy riding with us!

Driving around today was a form of therapy. I really enjoy the quiet time alone with the road in front of me. However, that is not to say that I do not enjoy the company of those I love just as much! There is just something so satisfying in deciding which way to go. Executing the controls into the vehicle. Then watching the road change in front of you. It provides just enough distraction to help me get my thoughts in order. Absolutes will get you nowhere; change happens.
